Soon afterward, while attending a Disability Expo, he learned of The Mouth and Foot Painters Association (MFPA). Davis submitted his work to the MFPA to be considered for a student membership. In 2006, he was granted a scholarship from MFPA to further develop his talent as a mouth painter.
